Broadcom’s CPO platform heterogeneously integrates optical engines (TSMC COUPE) with Ethernet switch silicon. Tomahawk 6–Davisson is the third-generation CPO switch: 102.4 Tbps optically enabled capacity and a claimed reduction in optical-interconnect power versus pluggables.
Official Broadcom materials dated 8 October 2025 present Tomahawk 6–Davisson as third-generation CPO, integrating TSMC Compact Universal Photonic Engine (COUPE) optical engines with Ethernet switch silicon at 102.4 Tbps optically enabled capacity. Official text describes a large reduction in optical-interconnect power versus pluggable optics. This listing records the CPO platform rather than a finished switch box. Tomahawk switch silicon is listed separately. Intel Silicon Photonics, already in the catalog, is a different photonic device family. Optical-engine counts and power figures should be confirmed on Broadcom’s current CPO pages.
