Privacy Policy

Silicon Showcase is an independent semiconductor technology discovery platform. We collect information you submit through the platform and limited first-party operational data needed to run it.

Depending on how you use Silicon Showcase, this may include:

• Contact messages: name, email address, optional subject, and message.
• Technology submissions: organization and technology details, supporting URLs, and submitter professional information such as name, corporate email, job title, and optional LinkedIn URL.
• Correction reports: name, email address, listing type, optional listing identifier, optional organization association, message, and optional supporting URL.
• Newsletter: the email address you provide if you subscribe.

Administrators who sign in to manage the platform have a session cookie, described below.

Silicon Showcase does not operate consumer accounts, payments, ratings, or a parts catalog, and we do not collect information for those purposes.

We use the information described above to:

• operate and maintain the discovery platform
• review technology submissions
• respond to contact inquiries
• review listing corrections
• send newsletter updates when you have subscribed
• maintain platform security and reduce automated abuse
• communicate about editorial or operational matters related to a submission or request

We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.

Organization representatives may submit information through Submit Technology, including organization details, technology descriptions, supporting URLs, and professional contact information.

Submitted information is used for editorial review and operational communication with the submitter. Submitting information does not guarantee that a listing will be published.

Silicon Showcase uses first-party, privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the public catalog is used. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, browser fingerprinting, or cookie-dependent advertising analytics.

Events may include page views, searches, filters, result clicks, technology, company, area, and application views, official-source clicks, and submission and correction activity. Each event stores only an event name, timestamp, anonymous session identifier, page path, optional entity type and ID, a referrer category, and limited safe metadata such as result counts or filter names.

We do not store search text, form values, names, email addresses, IP addresses, or authentication tokens in analytics events. Anonymous session identifiers are kept in session storage for the browser session and are not advertising cookies. Admin routes, bots, preview traffic, and signed-in administrators are excluded. Events are retained for a limited period and then deleted.

Information you submit through contact, technology submission, correction, and newsletter forms is stored as operational records so we can review and respond. Those records are not visitor analytics. Public visitors do not create accounts on Silicon Showcase.

You can browse Silicon Showcase without creating an account. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. Visitor analytics uses a temporary session-storage identifier, not an advertising cookie.

Administrators who sign in to manage the platform receive a secure, HTTP-only session cookie so they remain signed in. That cookie is used only for authenticated administrative access.

We do not sell personal data.

Information submitted through Silicon Showcase is used to operate the platform as described in this policy. We do not sell it to advertisers.

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, review submissions, maintain records, and address legal or operational requirements.

Silicon Showcase listings often link to official organization websites and other third-party sources. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Silicon Showcase does not control third-party sites and is not responsible for their content or how they handle information.
